Raised by Argentine parents in small town Vermont, Michael spent 3 years in Honduras during his service in the Peace Corps. An early career in education turned to full-time photography in 1997. His personal work has continued to focus on Latin American culture, including a recent project documenting the plight of Miskito Coast lobster divers in Honduras.
